Magnolia Lane Financial Services has welcomed Duncan Wood as Senior State Finance Broker for Queensland, strengthening our commercial finance presence across the state.
Duncan brings more than a decade of experience in the SME market, working with business owners across debt finance, growth funding and strategic advice. His approach is straightforward: understand the business, understand what it is trying to achieve, then find the right funding solution for the job.
Based in Brisbane, Duncan will provide local support across a broad range of commercial finance needs, from equipment and asset purchases through to funding for growth.
Queensland continues to be an important market for Magnolia Lane, particularly as investment in infrastructure, construction and transport builds in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032. Having an experienced broker on the ground gives businesses and referral partners direct access to someone who understands commercial finance and can work closely with them as opportunities arise.
Originally from Scotland, Duncan has relocated to Queensland with his wife and three children and is looking forward to getting to know the local business community.
Outside work, he is usually on a rugby pitch, out for a run or attempting a decent round of golf.
